Demystifying the Masters

Featuring video explorations of art, inspiration, and the creative process

An Invitation

Whether you are an art collector, historian, student—or simply someone who loves art—you are warmly invited to join me as I explore the creative process behind my paintings.

In this series, I also share the stories of the artists, cultures, and historical moments that gave rise to the great works I honor in my own.

Together, we will look more deeply at artists such as:

Winslow Homer, John Singer Sargent, Frederic Remington, Norman Rockwell, Andy Warhol, Johannes Vermeer, Vincent van Gogh, Jan van Eyck, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Camille Pissarro, and Claude Monet.

Art as a Mirror

Art is more than something we observe.

Art is a mirror of the soul.

It is an open invitation to enter a world of unimagined richness—a world where we can discover:

•  beauty
•  insight
•  inspiration

These experiences deepen our understanding and give greater meaning to life.

A Featured Reflection:

Grace Beyond Circumstance

In one episode, I explore my painting Grace Beyond Circumstance, inspired by a composition by Norman Rockwell.

I was drawn to Rockwell’s use of the word “grace”—a word that carries many meanings:

•  an unearned blessing
•  a state of inner harmony
•  a quality of beauty and ease
•  an added sense of charm or presence

In my painting, I sought to express all of these meanings visually.
